What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
No MOQ restrictions. We support everything from 1-piece prototypes to 1,000,000+ production runs. Whether you're an R&D engineer testing a concept or a procurement manager placing a high-volume order, we handle it with the same engineering rigor. Our flexible production setup allows us to be cost-effective at any quantity.
What file formats do you accept for quoting?
We accept all common CAD formats: STEP (.stp/.step), IGES (.igs/.iges), SOLIDWORKS (.sldprt), Parasolid (.x_t/.x_b), DWG, DXF, STL, and PDF (for 2D drawings). STEP format is preferred for 3D models as it preserves full geometry. For complex assemblies, please include both 3D models and 2D drawings with GD&T callouts. If you only have a sketch or concept, our engineers can assist with design.
How do you guarantee quality and accuracy?
Quality is built into every step of our process. We maintain ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, and ISO 13485 certifications. Our four-stage inspection system (IQC → IPQC → FQC → OQC) ensures zero-defect output. We use Zeiss CMM machines, Renishaw probing systems, and XRF analyzers for material verification. First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, dimensional inspection reports, and material certificates (CoC) are available for all orders.
Can you achieve tight tolerances? What is your precision limit?
Yes. Our standard precision tolerance is ±0.01mm (±0.0004"), and our precision capability reaches ±0.005mm (±0.0002") on CNC milling and turning. Swiss-type turning centers can achieve ±0.003mm on small diameter parts. For critical dimensions, we recommend including GD&T callouts on your drawing. Our DFM engineers will flag any features that may be challenging and suggest design optimizations to achieve your target tolerances cost-effectively.
How long does prototyping and production take?
Quote turnaround is 4 business hours with DFM review included. For rapid prototyping (1-10 pieces), typical lead time is 3-5 business days. Standard production orders (10-1,000 pieces) typically ship in 7-15 business days. High-volume production (1,000+) is quoted with specific lead times based on complexity and finishing requirements. Expedited options are available -- contact us for urgent requirements.
How do you protect my intellectual property and CAD files?
We take IP protection seriously. We sign NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreements) before receiving any design files -- no exceptions. All CAD files are stored on secure, access-controlled servers. Our engineering and production teams operate under strict confidentiality policies. We never share, sell, or reproduce your designs. For additional protection, we can work with file formats that limit design visibility to only the features needed for production.
Do you provide material certifications and inspection reports?
Yes. We provide a full documentation package upon request: Material Certificates (CoC) with mill heat numbers, First Article Inspection (FAI) reports with dimensional data, CMM measurement reports, surface roughness reports, and PPAP Level 3 documentation for automotive customers. For medical device orders, we maintain full traceability per ISO 13485 requirements. Please specify your documentation requirements when submitting your RFQ.
